Crews to Repair Water Valve on Highway 501 Monday
CONWAY, SC (May 15, 2020) – City of Conway crews will repair a leak in a water valve box at Highway 501 and Mill Pond Road in front of Burger King in Conway on Monday, May 18, 2020.
The repair will be made overnight. Traffic control devices will be used beginning at 8:00 pm on Monday night to divert one lane of traffic to the median so drivers can maneuver around the construction.
Crews will have to turn off water to about four businesses in that area around 10:00 pm in order to make the repair. Those businesses have been notified, and the repair will be made while those businesses are closed to limit disruption.
Crews hope to complete the repair and have the road open again by 2:00 am Tuesday morning.
